The Leutasch valley is divided into 24 neighbourhoods and is approx. 15 km long. This high valley (sea level of ca. 1130 m) is one of the most beautiful areas in the whole of Europe for sports enthusiasts. It offers activities such as hiking, mountaineering and mountainbiking in summer and is a Mecca for cross-country skiing in winter. With its ca. 260 km of perfectly groomed cross-country skiing trails, the Olympic region of Seefeld-Leutasch has been repeatedly awarded best cross-country skiing region of Europe (e.g. by the ADAC ski guide).
Our Landhaus Weisl is situated on the south-western entrance to the Leutasch valley on its widest valley floor. Our many regular guests consider the location of our Landhaus as the most beautiful place which the lovely Leutasch valley has to offer. In winter, the cross-country skiing trails of the Olympic region of Seefeld-Leutasch run past our Landhaus (ca. 15 m). Our Landhaus is near the entrance to the Gaistal valley, a unique natural paradise for hiking and mountainbiking. The approx. 650 km of marked hiking, mountain and climbing trails guarantee a splendid hiking experience in spring, summer or autumn. Mountain bikers enjoy the great number of well prepared biking trails. Our sportsmen can take a break in one of the 60 homely mountain huts or refuges while enjoying a typical Tyrolean meal.
From your apartment you have a wonderful view towards the Gaistal valley and the Wetterstein mountains, nearly to Zugspitze, the highest mountain of Germany (2962m). You can also enjoy this panoramic mountain scenery in a comfortable lounge from the beautifully maintained gardens. With a little bit of luck you can observe alpine animals in the meadows around the Landhaus from spring to late autumn. You can admire the imposing mountain "Hohe Munde" at night from the comfortable loungers or the armchair in the relaxation room.
